HEOS Drive by Denon - Multi room audio system installation

We are hard at work replacing an old Opus 4 zone system with a new Heoes Drive by Denon 8 zone multi room system. Controlled with in-wall Apple iPad mini & iPod Touch panels. Panels are mounted using Wall Smart fittings that (when finished) are flush with walls and painted the same color as walls. Control via iPad app or dedicated URC Total Control control system. We also replaced old speakers with 8 (top of the range) Kef Ci200QR tucked into Hoodie acoustic / fire bags. New Innuos Zen Mini music server will replace old Imerge S3000, too.

Holland Park Home Cinema - Final testing

We were pleased to have Mr Roger Quested himself, coming over to check and tweak crossovers & bass management. Glad to hear that he pointed that room sounded great and needed very little adjustment. Our carefully positioned acoustic treatment works! rest of the day was spent watching new Mad Max Fury Road and Transformers Age of Extinction. 

On the technical note - last bit of kit was plumbed into the rack. URC MRX-20 Network System Controller provides on screen menus, transport bar, favorite channels, all as an overlay. Very cool.

And the projector is on! Sony VW500ES 4K projector is just amazing! Everyone was impressed from the very first moment we switched it on.

Balustrade awaiting completion, stairs lighting and nosing to be fixed.

And finally, CINEAK chairs are all out of the boxes and in the room! Few more details remain to be completed. LED strip lights around stairs edges, drivers for ceiling crystals, chairs to be plugged in and locked together, etc. Work started on cinema rack, with client's (42TB!) Kaleidescape movie server flown in.

Holland Park Home Cinema - seating

We are nearly there! 14 massive boxes are relocated to the basement. First chair is put of the box.

Great craftsmanship from Cineak who managed to produce a on-off custom design. Red velvet seats and cushion with piano black lacquered wood armrests. Fully motorized. Can't wait to plug them in! And...the screen is finally up! 

Office network & Wi Fi wiring

Whole office network cabling, 5 x 24 port Ethernet patch bays, Cisco Gigabit & 10 Gigabit switches and 86 floor sockets!  All done in 3 days! Intensive or what?

Holland Park Home Cinema - Quested speakers

Finally - they are out of the box! 8 x Quested LT-8 for surrounds, 3 x Quested LT-10 for L/R/C and 6 x Quested ZUB 2.10 Sub woofers - all powered with Quested amplification.

Holland Park Home Cinema - Fabric wall pt.2

Wall panels are getting fixed! Looking amazing! Panels in front of the speakers and radiators are removable to allow for access. Each beveled panel is covered with Cineak luxury wall fabric. 

 On of eight Quested LT-8 surround speakers.

Frame for Screen Excellence 4K Enlightor projection screen is in place. Space behind the screen is reserved for 3 x Quested ZUB 2.10 subwoofers and 3 x Quested LT-10 L/C/R speakers.

French Chateau on FR5 TV

We are delighted to learn that French property with our award winning AV installation & home cinema was featured in hour long La Maison France TV show on France's FR5 channel.

Kensington Media Room - completed!

Finally, chairs are in and that completes this amazing underground Media Room at #Kensington. Slim frame Screen Excellence 4K Enlightor projector screen is flush built into a wall. Panasonic HD projector; Onkyo TX NR838, Panasonic Blu Ray, Virgin Tivo box, Apple TV, iRemoteControl on Apple iPad mini, Cisco 10 port switch, Sonos Amp.

Summer holiday is over, everyone is back on site ready to go full steam! 

All frames completed and fabric stretched. Next - fitting it all! Front and back walls will be completely back and side walls will have beveled black panels with gold plated metal strips running between them, giving it a nice 3D and luxurious look.
Light boxes are also completed and LED strips are all in and connected.
Awaiting gold plated Art Deco grilles that will go over glass panels.

Kensington Medai Room Rack

All completed - small rack is populated with Onkyo TX NR737 AV receiver, Panasonic Blu Ray player, 2 x Sonos Amps, Kef KASA500 Sub Woofer DSP amp and 10 port Cisco switch. There is still room for Virgin media box.

First time used this little neat software for iOS devices. iRemoteControl works with Global Cache iTach WiFi to IR interfaces. Lightening fast installation, simple to use and it works!

Ideal for one room control, smaller setups and budget conscious clients.
