High St kensington - AV installation pt.4

Things are moving fast at our Kensington project. AV rack is hang, patch bays all connected, equipment mounted in. We just had Virgin broadband installed and 6 new Virgin Media TV boxes delivered. Speakers all tested - working great! Six Nakymatone invisible speakers in living room and four Kef Ci200QS in the kitchen / dining. First TV wall is taking shape... 

 Sanus AV rack featuring, Sonance 12 channel power amplifier, 2 x Sonos Connect steamers, Cisco 24 port managed switch, Drytek router, Domotz Pro network monitor and 10ch. PDU.

Control4 automation and all that...

We are proud to announce that we are now authorised dealers and installers for Contro4 products.  

Anything from simple TV control to fully automated home with lighting, heating, blinds and all audio and video gadgets...
It was also cool to visit Control4 UK HQ last week - amazing training facilities.

Notting Hill - second fix

We are almost there with Notting Hill project. Second fix is underway, with wall sockets, data points, light fittings and Wi-Fi access points in place. A number of Unifi AC-Pro access points is installed throughout the property for full Wi-Fi coverage. Data sockets in all rooms for present and future use & upgrades.

Small data rack with Ethernet patch bay, NETGEAR Network switch and Unifi network controller is located in the basement plant room.

First fix well underway on what is going to be amazing project! Multi room audio & video distribution, home cinema, CCTV, home network & Wi-Fi, intruder alarms, Lutron lighting & shades - all automated with Control4.

Cool rack

On our latest install at Kensington High Street - space is at premium so our rack had to be mounted pretty high in a boiler room, joined by washing machine and a dryer! In order to have access to the back of it, we had to use this clever Sanus swing brackets & Sanus skeleton rack. Rack will hold about 50kg of gear including Rotel power amps, two Sonos Connect pres and various home network equipment.But first, I have to organize those cables hanging at the back!

French Job - part 3 (add ons)

It's been a while and we are back in sunny France for some additions to our award winning installation (ITSA 2014 Best International installation Award). 

To bring things u to date, we installed two Heos by Denon pre-amps / streamers/ One for the main house as an extra source and one in the big barn, connected to Arcam 8ch, power amp & 10 Kef outdoor speakers. It rocks!

We also replaced old Imerge S300 music server with Innuos Zen Mini MKII music server / ripper playing through modified Sonos Connect. We also hooked up PS4 in the main salon area and replaced old HDAnywhere HDMI matrix with new MHub2K 4x4.

Other additions were 11 (!) Nest Protect smoke detectors / fire alarms and two Dahua 4 mega pixels IP cameras - recording onto 12TB Qnap drive.

Barn near Oxford

We are about to start a great project near Oxford. Huge barn with outbuildings - 8 zones of audio, 8 zones of 4K video, home network & Wi-Fi, Home cinema, Lutron smart lighting & automated shades - all integrated & controlled with Control4. First fix starting in a matter of days! more pix soon! 

High St Kensignton AV install - part 2 - Invisible speakers

We just completed an installation of 6 Nakymatone invisible speakers in this large living room with high ceilings. One more coat to go and they are ready for painting. Clients will enjoy amazing sound without a speaker in sight!

Hampstead AV installation - completed!

Finally, all done at Hampstead! 

B&O TV loaded with fresh PUC IR codes for Virgin TiVo box and box moved out of sight, using HDAnywhere HDMI over Cat6 extender. Last of the mighty Ruckus APs is installed outside and sending 160 mbps Wi Fi to every corner of the garden! New Apple TV and HDAnywhere receiver are mounted at the back of a TV and cables secured to allow for bracket movements.

Domotz, Innuos, Nest...

Busy week, testing and setting up gear for next project abroad. 5 x Nest Smoke detectors, 3 Innuos Zen Mini MKII Music Servers, Domotz Pro, IP CCTV Cams etc..

Ripping dozens of newly bought CDs to ZEN MINI MKII server and then copying old client's music library to all three of them. Also testing Domotz Pro network monitoring software & hardware. We will be including this now on every installation.
